ABOUT BENNY DAVIS

Benny Davis is originally from Bedford Hills, New York. He fell in love with photography while attending Ringling College of Art & Design, but he was studying film there. After graduating in 2016, he pursued roles as a video editor throughout his career, and moved to Los Angeles in 2022 to continue this line of work. However, when the combined strikes of WGA and SAG halted much of Hollywood's activity in 2023, Benny seized the opportunity to transition into photography. When he stumbled upon a forgotten stash of his own unprocessed film rolls and had them developed, he unearthed a treasure trove of memories featuring his dear departed friend. This poignant discovery, coupled with the career pivot, reignited Benny's passion for the craft of photography.
